The Day I Never Saw the Sun

I left my apartment this morning at 5:50. It was dark. I left school at 8:30. It was dark. Still, just why was this day one of the greatest so far? I'll tell you.
  • God gave me an alternate way to teach my kids how to find a missing endpoint of a segment, given the other endpoint and the midpoint. ...YES I prayed about that.
  • A student told me after school that I should be "Teacher of the Year." And it wasn't for letting her have her way (which I don't). It was for teaching her math. And that's it.
  • Lee's parents helped us out with the cost of plane tickets. (Do I hear an "Amen" to that?!)
  • I didn't even bring my teacher bag home with me because I finished ALL OF MY WORK AT SCHOOL. I know it seems like a "duh" thing since I was there so late, but that is not always the case. Those of you who know me well know I procrastinate a tad. :)
  • I saw my first (dead) armadillo today.
  • My parents sent me 6 pix messages of them just being goofballs on their dinner date to Rico's. I love that they are still in love. :)
  • God took our $20,000+ hospital debt and said, "Not on My watch." We now have to pay $200. You read that right....$200!!!!!!!!!!
All blog-worthy. All praise-God-worthy.
